Kerala Congress (Mani) firm on RS seat demand

 Sunday, April 01, 2012: The Kerala Congress (Mani) would remain firm on its claim for a seat in the Rajya Sabha elections which is coming up next month, said party leader K M Mani. Talking to reporters here, he said the Rajya Sabha seat deserved for the party should have been given earlier.
Mani said the KC (M) is not against demand of the Muslim League for the fifth ministerial post. One cannot say whether League’s demand is reasonable or unreasonable. The Congress may need some more time to take the final decision. Hope an amicable solution will be taken.
