Neyyattinkara by-poll a referendum on Govt: VS

Thursday, April 19, 2012: Opposition Leader VS Achuthanandan today opined that the upcoming by-poll to the Neyyattinkara Assembly constituency would be a referendum on the performance of the UDF government.
Addressing the presspersons here on Thursday, VS added that the price of the essential commodities have increased during the UDF government’s tenure which has been an additional burden for the laymen.
The State as well as the Central governments has not taken any necessary steps to curb the price rise, VS said.
