Supreme Court stays CBI probe into Data centre case

Thursday, April 12, 2012: The Apex Court has on Thursday imposed a stay on the State Government’s order directing a CBI probe into the case in connection with the handing over of the data centre to Reliance during the previous LDF tenure.
Supreme Court issued this order while hearing the petition filed by T.G. Nandakumar. Former Chief Minister VS Achuthanandan and Mohan Sukumaran, son of former prosecution director general Kallada Sukumaran, are named defendants in the plea.
The allegation was that the data centre was handed over to Reliance when Achuthanandan was in charge of the IT department.
