Jagathy ‘improving steadily’, says doctors

Wednesday, May 16, 2012: Veteran actor Jagathy Sreekumar, who suffered a severe accident a few months back, has started responding well to advanced neuro treatment and medicines, at the Vellore hospital.
The doctors at the hospital say that Sreekumar’s body has started responding and his brain is yet to respond. Jagathy is currently in semi-conscious state and he finds it difficult to identify known people.
Jagathy is likely to be in the hospital for a longer period as the right side of his body is partially paralysed. The doctors at the Vellore Medical College and Hospital are trying their best to cure the Mollywood legend.
Jagathy was injured in March, when the car he was travelling to Kodagu in Karnataka for the shoot of a new movie, rammed into a road median and overturned near Tenhippalam. He underwent an abdomen surgery, soon after the accident, to arrest internal bleeding.
