RBR has good FDFS reports

After the First Day First Show of ‘Run Baby Run’, which started as early as 7 am in many theatres across the state on the ThiruOnam day, the fans of the star are indeed happy to find their Onam offering the best so far from Lal this year. The movie which is said to be patterned like every other Joshi movie is a suspense thriller with its share of good twists. But the first independent script by Sachi which tells about the fights between news channels, has its share of freshness and gives a different look to the movie.

Mohanlal appears as Venu, the Reuters stringer who comes down to the state to shoot some visuals for a story and to attend as a respondent in the court. RBR features just one song, the hit ‘Aattumanal Paayayil’ sung by Mohanlal. Biju Menon gets most of the claps apart from Lal who makes a cakewalk through the role.

As of now, the movie is expected to give Mohanlal that much evading super hit, that has been keeping away from the superstar though his recent ‘Spirit’ and ‘Grandmaster’ were much appreciated.

‘Run baby run’ has opened in around 80 centres across the state of kerala and is expected to become the winner of this Onam season.
