Mud slip while digging well, one trapped

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Three persons of a family in Kariyidavila in Vizhinjam had been trapped in the mud slip that followed the digging of a well in the compound of their house.

Two persons have been rescued by the fire force and the neighbours while Babu is still trapped under the soil. Efforts are being carried out for his rescue.

Another well was dug earlier but as there was no water to be found, they dug the new well deeper.

The mud from the old well has collapsed into the new well.
