Vigilance case against Sreenijan dismissed

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The case relating to illegal wealth acquisition against P V Sreenijan, former Supreme Court chief justice K G Balakrishnan’s son-in-law, has been  dismissed.

The vigilance case was dismissed citing the reason that investigation cannot be made against Sreenijan as he is not a social worker.

Home secretary has accepted the recommendation submitted by vigilance director on June 26th that the case cannot be investigated.
