No vigilance probe against K Jayakumar
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Thiruvananthapuram Vigilance Special Court judge S Mohandas dismissed the plea alleging widespread irregularities against K Jayakumar, former chief secretary, during his tenure as vice chancellor of the Veterinary University.
The plea against Jayakumar was filed by INTUC leader Manacaud Chandrankutty.
The allegation against him was that he incurred a loss of Rs 15 crores to the university while serving as the vice chancellor of Veterinary & Animal Science Uty.
