Sivagiri Pilgrimage begins today
SIVAGIRI: The 80th annual Sivagiri Pilgrimage will begin at Sivagiri Mutt near Varkala today (Sunday). After the hoisting of flag at 7.30 am, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy will inaugurate the programmes at 9.30 am. Swami Amruthananda will light the lamp. Swami Prakashananda would preside over the function. Minister K.C. Venugopal will be the special guest and Minister Adoor Prakash will be chief guest.
