No untouchability in politics, says SRP

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: There is no untouchability in politics, said CPM politburo members S Ramachandran Pillai.  Former chief minister E M S Namboodiripad too had clarified about it.

Talking to a private channel, he said those who have joined the UDF quitting the LDF will return back to the parent party.

SRP said, “When they change their stand, our approach will also change. Some allied parties of the UDF have expressed dissatisfaction. This will force them to leave the front. A decision to accommodate them will be taken only after considering the attitude of each allied parties. The Left Front will welcome only those who agree the party’s stand.”

In reply to a question, he said the final decision on opposition leader V S Achuthanandan will be taken by the central committee, said SRP.
