Engineering entrance gets under way
KOCHI: The Kerala State Engineering Entrance Examinations began on Monday. A total of 1,04,852 students from across the state took the test, out of the 1,13,197 persons who had registered. This is 92.6 per cent of the total students who hadregistered.
The highest number of students taking the exam were from Ernakulam. 13,214 students from the district took the exam. Wayanad had the lowest number, with just 1,656 students.
The Engineering Entrance Examination will continue till April 24. This will be followed by the Medical Entrance Examinations.
