Palmolein case: Govt files objection petition

Tuesday, April 24, 2012: The State Government on Tuesday filed an objection petition in the Thrissur Vigilance Court against the petition submitted by BJP leader Alphonse Kannanthanam in the palmolein case.
Alphonse Kannanthanam had on March 14 moved Thrissur Vigilance Court to make Chief Minister Oommen Chandy an accused in the case.
Earlier, the case was considered by Thiruvananthapuram vigilance court. Later, the case was transferred to Thrissur Vigilance court following Judge’s recusal from the case.
