Tuesday, April 24, 2012: As many as 16 passengers were injured when a KSRTC fast passenger bus rammed into the rear of a non-AC low floor bus near Panavila here on Tuesday.The rear side of the low floor bus and the front portion of the KSRTC bus were completely destroyed in the impact. The injured persons were immediately rushed to the Thiruvananthapuram Medical college hospital with the help of the local residents.
The injured have been identified as Reghuvaran Nair (58), Jaya (36), Philomena, (44), Sheeja (25), Susheela (42), Suresh (27), Jansibhai (55), Shailaja (45), Somasundaram (24), Ayub Ali (35), Anila (22), Ranimol (24), Jayadharan Nair (36), Tulasidas (58) and Shivakumar (43).
