SFI wins KU Union elections

Students Federation of India(SFI) has won the Kerala University Union elections  held here on Saturday.

Joshi John, research student, Philosophy Department Kariavattom campus was elected chairman. Rajeesh M (BA Politics 2nd year, SN College, Cherthala) was elected general secretary. Vice-chairperson - Anju Sekhar(Bishop Moore college, Mavelikara), vice-chairmen Abhimanyu T P (SN college,Kollam) and  Aneesh M S(University College, Thiruvananthapuram). Akhil Krishnan,(St.Gregorios College, Kottarakkara) and H Harshakumar of AISF (SN College, Punalur) were elected as joint secretaries.

SFI also won 14 of the 15 seats in the executive when AISF won just one seat.   SFI state president Shiju Khan and secretary T P Bineesh offered felicitation to all those who had helped SFI to win the elections.
