VS seeks probe

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: opposition leader V S Achuthanandan has demanded a judicial probe into what he termed custodial deaths of Aji Kumar of Ivarkala in Kollam and Satnam Singh. VS asked the government to immediately place under suspension all the police personnel connected with Aji Kumar’s arrest and his subsequent death which, he pointed out, was the second such incident in a week. He was taken to hospital along with Satnam Singh and both had died after being brutally beaten up.
