College teachers in Kerala to get UGC arrears
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The college teachers in Kerala would get arrears of UGC pay with effect from 2006, said Finance Minister K.M. Mani on Monday. The teachers would get the arrears of increased pay from 1 January 2006 to 28 February 2010. The arrears would benefit about 7899 college teachers. Total arrears amount to Rs. 998 crores. The first installment of Rs. 314 crores will be allowed now.
