Goons sever legs of paralysed person

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In a shocking incident, goons severed the legs of a 45-year-old middle aged man, bedridden for the past 12 years with spinal cord injury. The legs of the victim identified as Vijayakumar of Bharathanoor was severed by two masked men.

When his wife came back from work in the afternoon, she found her husband lying in a pool of blood. She immediately called the 108 ambulance and took him to the medical college hospital. He will be subjected for an operation and his condition is stated to be serious.

The police inspected the house after Kilimanoor circle inspector reached the spot.
