THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: N Shanker Reddy, Additional Director-General of Police (ADGP), north zone, will probe the arrest of Amway India Chief William Scott Pinckney by the Kozhikode crime branch, said Home Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan. Union Minister Sachin Pilot had termed the arrest as unfortunate.
It was noticed that the arrest of Pinckney was comparatively a minor incident. It will be examined. Steps will be taken against organisations involved in misappropriation, said the minister. But the move of the police should be legal, directed the home minister.
