KASARGOD: The hartal called by the CPM in protest against the murder of their activist in Uduma has started in the district. A CPM activist identified as Balakrishnan (45) of Mangad was stabbed to death last night.
Balakrishnan was attacked by some unidentified goons while returning after attending a funeral of his relative. Muslim League is behind the murder, alleged the CPM.
