Textbooks to be distributed before Mar 31

 Monday, January 9, 2011: The text books needed for all students in state schools would be distributed within March 31.
The State Government is planning to distribute all the texts needed by students from class I to 10 before the schools reopen after annual holidays. The proceedings for this are going on in warfooting in Kerala Books and Publications Society.
There are 12,102 schools in government and aided sector and text books are being distributed through 3,325 school societies. The first volume of all textbooks which are needed in June would be distributed now. Steps are being made to begin the distribution from February.
State co-coordinator of text distribution G Chandrasekharanunnithan said that the direction regarding the distribution has been sent to state government and education officials.. He said the distribution would begin as per the official decision of the government.
