AICSSO demands interest free education loans
Sunday, August 12, 2012: The All India Confederation of SC/ST Organisations (AICSSO) has urged the governments to initiate steps to grant interest free education loans to students in the country.
Talking to newspersons here, AICSSO State President K Ramankutty called upon the governments to pay interest against the loan taken by students to banks through subsidies. Accusing financial institutions which denied education loan to SC/ST students, he urged the government to frame criminal laws to book the defaulters.
