Ashokan will be made VC again
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The cabinet meeting on Wednesday decided to reinstate Dr. B. Ashokan as the Vice Chancellor of Veterinary University. Earlier, Kerala High Court had rejected the government decision to remove him from the post and ordered to appoint him again. The cabinet decided not to go for an appeal in this case.
Ashokan has been appointed as VC for 5 years. But he was removed from the post even before he completed one year. Subsequently, Ashokan filed a petition against his removal.
