Lok Ayukta rejects plea against Minister

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Lok Ayukta refused to take cognisance of a petition to investigate Health Minister V S Sivakumar on the charge of appointing a relative of his to a key post in the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation. The forum refused to accept the complaint on record after the petitioner failed to produce anything of evidentiary value to substantiate his arguments. Government Pleader Anil Kumar represented the state in the case.
