Doctors boycott OP

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In protest against the action taken against doctors’ following the death of Satnam Singh of Bihar,doctors of all government hospitals in the district, including Perookada Mental Health Centre,boycotted OP for a couple of hours on Saturday.

The protest was led by KGMOA and lasted from 8 am to 10 am after which the doctors began OP.

Specialist OP, however, did not function.

The doctors have called for a strike on Monday if the action against doctors is not revoked.
