Man pushed into well by wife dies

KASARGOD:  A young woman is arrested for killing her husband by pushing him into the well.

Sulaikha (36) killed her huband Jabbar (50) on Friday evening.

Jabbar, a native of Bandra in Mumbai, came to Christ King quarters to visit his wife on Friday.

It is reported that Sulaikha, who had asked him to repair the pulley, pushed him into the well. When she saw Jabbar holding on to the rope and pipe, she severed off both with a knife.

She had told that Jabbar came home with a friend and on her return from the market, the friend fled after telling her that he has killed her husband.

Police found her statement suspicious and on further enquiry, got the truth out of her.

The couple has three kids namely Subair, Junaid and Sajna.
