KANHANGAD: A DYFI activist was killed during the hartal observed by the CPM in protest against the arrest of P Jayarajan.The dead has been identified as Manoj (24), unit president of Ambangad. Karunakaran, Thachangad local committee secretary, has been admitted to a hospital with injuries.
Manoj, a hartal supporter, was attacked while he was returning after attending a protest march at Thachangad in Uduma.
Manoj was attacked and killed by Muslim League activists, alleged the DYFI.
