Miscreants pelt stones at K C Venugopal’s house

ALAPPUZHA: Police arrested six people for pelting stones at Union Minister of State for Power K C Venugopal's house in the early hours of Friday. According to police, the incident took place in the early morning in which the window panes were shattered. The police said the arrested were said to be the pro-CPI (M) DYFI activists.


Talking to media, Venugopal said the incident took place at around 0100 hrs in the morning. He arrived from the airport at 2330 hrs and slept by 0030 hrs.
