Party to examine Mani’s sensational speech: Baby

KOCHI: Politburo member M A Baby said they will examine the sensational speech of CPM Idukki former district secretary M M Mani. Baby said they will see whether Mani has violated party norms. Eliminating foes is not the policy of the party, he said.

Addressing a meeting, organised by the CPI-M at Adimali Pathamile in Idukki district Friday evening, Mani said the party was responsible for the murder of a local leader of the Congress's trade union wing INTUC some years ago.

The dispute with the CPI is a minor issue which can be solved easily.
