Punching system for Corporation employees

Ensuring optimum utilisation of manpower, the Corporation introduced biometric attendence system for its employees. Mayor Tony Chammany on Wednesday inaugurated the system installed at central office of the Corporation.


The authorities said the system would be installed at the zonal and circle offices from September 1.


“Biometric attendance system will be made mandatory for all employees, from the top executive to the peon or driver. The system will be operational at the zonal and circle offices from September 1, Corporation secretary  Ajit Patil said.


“10.15 am, 1.15 am, 2 pm and 5 pm will be the punching time for employees. If anyone wants to go out at any other time, he can proceed with consent of the head of the department concerned and by entering it in the movement register, Patil said.
