Vilappilsala is the goose that lays the golden egg, says Shakthan

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As far as the corporation is concerned, Vilappilsala factory is the goose that lays golden eggs, said deputy speaker N Shakthan in support of the protestors.


He added that the corporation has least interest in waste management.


With all due respect to the High Court’s verdict, he said, the corporation has misled the court in the issue. He alleged that though about 60 crore has already been spent on the factory, the issue remains unsolved and it brings into light the corruption that has taken place.


In the scenario of the factory not been working for about seven months, he questioned the motive behind bringing new machines.
