THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A Tamil website quoting actress Kanaka said that her father is purposely spreading news that she is suffering from cancer. The website reports that he is trying to enter the actress’ house after breaking her hatred towards men.
The actress lost her mother and film actress Devika very early. By the time her father Devdas also left them. She felt very lonely after that and was scared to face life. In the meantime, she met a woman who helped the actress to speak to her mother’s spirit. This continued for some time.
The actress entered the film industry at the age of 16. In April 2007, she met Muthu Kumar, an engineer working in the US and married him secretly. He was later found missing and she blamed her father for that. It was later stated that he cheated the actress and decamped with some of her money. She said that he stayed with her only for 15 days. Kanaka broke ties with the woman who helped her to talk with her mother’s spirit.
Another website had reported in January that the actress is suffering from cancer.
