THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The government has imposed a ban on noted news portals and social networking sites in the Secretariat. But no ban has been imposed on the websites of Congress mouthpiece Veekshanam and League mouthpiece Chandrika.
Social networking sites like Facebook are one among those banned. The .government had suspended three persons for commenting and liking a statement on Chief Minister Oommen Chandy in the Facebook. The three are still under suspension.
