THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Former minister C Divakaran, who completed two-term will seek mandate from the Nedumangad constituency. A decision was taken today at the CPI state executive which convened here today. A decision was taken to give him relaxation even after some supported and some opposed him. Divakaran is presently an MLA from Karunagapally. A final decision will be taken at the state council.
When the executive granted relaxation to six persons who completed two-terms, it was decided not to give relaxation to K Ajith, Vaikkom MLA. C K Asha will replace Ajith in Vaikkom. Relaxation was also granted to E S Bijimol, P Thilothaman, Mullakkara Ratnakaran, K Raju and V S Sunil Kumar.
