KOCHI: There was an attempt to loot the ATM counter of South Indian Bank at Vengola in Perumbavoor. No cash has been lost. The incident happened early Tuesday morning at the ATM Machine situated at the canal bund road in Vengola. There was no guard at the ATM. The burglars left the place when the siren started ringing.
When the siren was received at the bank head office, they informed the police. A man with a covered face was seen in the camera. He tried to break the ATM machine using an iron rod. The police and forensic finger print experts have reached the spot. A migrant is suspected to be behind the incident.
