Bunty chor brought to capital city
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Devinder Singh alias Bunty Chor, arrested in Pune for burgling an NRI at the Pattom-Marappalom Road in the capital city, was brought to the capital city Monday morning.
He was brought to the capital city by Air India’s Mumbai-Thiruvananthapuram flight at 8.30 am. Strict security was beefed up in the airport. The hitech thief was brought to the capital city by a team led by Peroorkada circle inspector Prathapan Nair. He was taken straight to Nandavanam A R Camp from the airport.
He will be later taken to the NRI’s residence for taking evidence.
He had lifted a Mitsibhish Outlander worth Rs 28 lakhs, laptop, two mobile phones, a gold ring and a small lamp from the NRI’s house. The car which was found abandoned at Krishnagiri on the Karnataka border was brought to the capital city on Friday.
