KSRTC calls off strike

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The indefinite strike called by the CITU affiliated Kerala State Road Transport Corporation has been called off following an assurance to reinstate the dismissed empanel employees.

The union called for the strike to express solidarity with the government employees against the participatory pension scheme introduced by the government.

The strike was called off following the assurance from the managing director to reinstate the striking employees.
