Vigilance probe on purchase of vehicles in fire force

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A vigilance probe will be conducted in connection with the purchase of vehicles for the fire force. The minister said that an official not below the rank of SP will be in charge of the probe.

Senior Congress leader V M Sreedharan had sought a vigilance probe on the corruption noticed in the purchase of vehicles.  The minister said the probe is being conducted following the letter of Sudheeran.
