THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: By criticising PM Modi, who had set off an epochal economic reform, Kerala Finance Minister Thomas Isaac has taken a stand to help black money hoarders, BJP State chief Kummanam Rajasekharan has said.
"When the step was hailed by people who don't have black money, only Isaac and certain Marxist leaders spoke against Modi's decision. Their stand is the same as that of black money hoarders. If the Centre had imposed restriction with prior notice, it would have helped only the hoarders. Even after knowing this, he criticised the step. Isaac who is responsible to take a favourable stand towards steps taken to help country's economy is leading the campaign to create anxiety among people. This is only to sabotage the Centre's step," he said.
He also urged the minister to denounce blind political rivalry and take steps to benefit the people.
He also demanded the government to review the decision of government institutions not to accept Rs 500 and Rs 1000.
