‎Malappuram: Thirurangadi police not suing BJP national vice president AP Abdullahkutty. The Thirurangadi police replied in writing that they could not file a complaint filed by the Youth League. The complaint was caused by abdullah kutty's statement portraying The Malabar strike leaders Wariyamnath Baby Hammad Haji and Ali Muslyar as communal leaders.‎


‎On Wednesday, the Youth League Constituency Committee filed a complaint against Abdullah kutty with the Thirurangadi police. The police had said they would reply after checking. Accordingly, the police later replied to the Youth League leaders. The contents of the reply were that they could not file a complaint.‎

‎According to the complaint, he was defamed. The police cannot sue directly in this complaint. You have to approach the civil court. The Thirurangadi police also informed the Youth League leaders that the police could intervene as per the directions of the court. He reiterated this when he contacted Thirurangadi CI Sandeep Kumar.‎

‎The Youth League, however, had alleged that Abdullah kutty had tried communal violence by creating divisions in the society and wanted to sue him for promoting religious touch. Constituency General Secretary UA Razak said the legal advice received by the Youth League leadership was that the police could sue him.‎

‎The Youth League leadership filed a direct complaint with Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan after he was convinced that the Thirurangadi police would not sue. The chief minister has handed over the complaint to the state police chief. Meanwhile, the constituency committee had lodged a complaint with the Malappuram district police chief along with a complaint to the Thirurangadi police. It is said that no further action has been taken.‎
