KOCHI: The Kerala High Court criticized the government in land deal case involving Salim Raj, former gunman of the chief minister. The court criticized the government for producing only the documents in Malayalam in connection with the land deal case.
The court said the government is behaving like ordinary litigants. A division bench led by Chief Justice Manjula Chellur asked why the government is behaving like this when the documents can be obtained from the registration department within minutes. The government is not considering the cases seriously, suspected the court. The division bench directed the government to produce the English version of the documents tomorrow.
