State alone cannot control price rise, says Mani

KOZHIKODE:  Price rise is a global phenomenon and the state alone cannot control it, said Finance Minister K M Mani. There is an increase in price and the government will do everything to control it, he said.

It is the responsibility of the government to reduce the burden of the people when the prices of essential commodities are surging during the Onam season. The government will take necessary steps to curb the rising prices of essential commodities.
