NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court Monday granted bail to 23 accused in the second Marad riots case. Bail was granted to the 23 including Muslim League Beypore constituency former president P P Moideen Koya. The apex court refused to support government’s demand to make strict the bail conditions of the accused.
The government requested the court not to allow them to enter Marad till they get bail as it is a sentimental issue. But the court directed them to produce a special plea pointing the issue.
