THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The government may come to the rescue of KSRTC by providing a temporary relief in the wake of the Supreme Court withdrawing the diesel subsidy.
The government may give the excess liability of Rs 22 crores after the subsidy was withdrawn by the Supreme Court. The government is likely to provide relief to KSRTC for the next two months.
A decision may be taken at the next cabinet meet. Other decisions will be taken on the basis of the talks held with oil companies today. The government may approach the centre for help.
