PDP to agitate for Maudani

October 14, 2011 : People’s Democratic Party (PDP) would organise a march to Kerala Assembly on October 27, demanding intervention of the UDF and LDF MLAs against the alleged injustice being meted out to PDP leader Abdul Nazar Maudani in Karnataka jail.
PDP senior Vice Chairman Varkala Raj said that this would be the first phase of the agitation.
In July 2005, the Assembly had passed a resolution to help Madani and it was sent to the President. After this, Madani got medical facilites.
The PDP has urged the intervention of MLAs in Kerala, the PDP VC added.
The Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Gujarat government’s conspiracy was behind the arrest of the PDP leader in connection with the 2008 Bangalore blast case, Raj alleged.
