Thursday, October 20, 2011: CPM veteran and leader of Opposition, V S Achuthanandan today distanced himself from the statement by senior CPM Leader M.V Jayarajan, who made a call to the SFI students to use physical force against Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) K Radhakrishna Pillai.
Talking to mediaperson here, VS said such a statement should not have been made by Jayarajan. The government should suspend the ACP instead of transferring him, he added.
