Tuesday, October 18, 2011: Opposition leader VS Achuthanandan on
Tuesday sought the suspension of Minister KP Mohanan who they alleged to
have engaged in inappropriate behavior.
He was speaking at press meet here on Tuesday. He said that the
protests will continue till the government takes stern action against
assistant commissioner Radhakrishna Pillai who fired at the SFI
activists. VS said they are not ready for any compromises on the action
against ACP.
CPM state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan too came down heavily against
Minister saying that KP Mohanan is not fit to occupy the minister’s
chair. He also want a probe into the incident as he had misused the
Speaker’s office.
