CPI (M) march on Sept 7

KOZHIKODE: CPI (M) activists will march to the Kozhikode District Collectorate on September 7 demanding a Central Bureau of Investigation inquiry into the Marad killings. A press release issued by the CPI (M) district committee office here on Sunday referred to the Kerala High Court’s observations about the irregularities in investigating the conspiracy angle in the second Marad killings which led to the death of nine persons. It stated that a proper and fair probe should be conducted in the case. Several prominent persons in the United Democratic Front government had a role in the incident, the statement said.  After the Collectorate march a series of agitations would be launched till the demand was met, the statement added.
