Unified labour policy for nurses, says Shibu

NEW DELHI: Minister for Labour and Rehabilitation Shibu Baby John said that a unified labour policy will be constituted for the nurses in India.

He added that this will be put forth in the state labour ministers’ meet.

He said that unification is required in the clauses regarding the service and salary of nurses and added that the help of the centre will be sought in arranging for higher education opportunities in the professional stream.
