V R Raghu Varma suspended

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The government has suspended V R Raghu Varma, Superintendent of Police, Crime Records Bureau, from service for having obstructed discharge of official duties by the Chief Secretary. A press note said that the decision had been taken on the basis of a recommendation from police chief K S Balasubramanian. Varma was in the news for having allegedly created a ruckus at the Chief Secretary’s office recently.
