Mullappally rules out CBI probe in TP murder case
KOZHIKODE: Minister of State for Home Mullappally Ramachandran ruled out a CBI probe in the murder of RMP leader T P Chandrasekharan. Rema, wife of TP sought a CBI probe following the threat of CPM, he said.
The state police are actively investigating the case. A chance should be given to the team to find those signed in his death warrant.
The state police had earlier stated that they are not against a CBI probe in the case. When opposition leader V S Achuthanandan favoured a CBI probe, the CPM politburo had opposed it.
